As 2015 winds to a close, what shave kit did you get this year that you're still thrilled to have (Cheers) & which kit do you kinda wish you hadn't (Jeers)?

Please don't turn this into a brand/product bashing session. As you'll see in my Jeers there are a couple products that are highly regarded that simply didn't work well for me and I won't be buying from them again most likely. Not because I dislike the company, but simply because there are so many others that work better for me.

Now to stop stalling, here's my list:

2015 Jeers

Saponificio Varesino soap
Myrsol aftershaves
Pitralon aftershave
The Grooming Company synthetic brush
EJ XL Silvertip Fibre brush (though my wife loves it) - really any STF brush isn't my cup of tea.
iKon SE handle

2015 Cheers

Barrister & Mann Latha soap
Barrister & Mann Latha aftershave
(I can't tell you how excited I am to get two new scents in the Latha line this week)
Country Club for Men aftershave
Bufflehead soap (looking forward to when Justin is able to ramp up production again)
Plisson synthetic brushes
Chiseled Face Fauxmere knot in my Elite Razors custom Eagle handle.
Triad Titanium Helix handle

Now you've seen mine, let's see yours!

Cheers

All of my Barrister & Mann soaps
Tabula Rasa Steam Punk Aftershave Gel
Viking Sword DE blades
Plisson pour L'Occitane synthetic brush
Kent Infinity Silvertex synthetic brush
Stirling Soaps "Kong" synthetic brush

Special Mention: my DFS pocket T-shirt Smile

No Jeers, per se, Brian. Rather a couple of products that I may need to dial in better: Stirling Soaps Peach Shaving Soap and Gillette Nacet blades.

Cheers:
I still love my merkur 39c and somehow always seem to include my chiseled face soaps in any new rotation I try.

And as for jeers I would have to agree with Freddy I don't think I really have any so far everything has its place and use.

Not that I can afford to talk.  My shaving gear is bad enough but my fountain pens and related items are truly a (very happy) disease. Mad

I didn't say that that my "problem" was necessarily a bad one... Wink

Oh dear! Fountain Pens for you too, eh Freddy? Howdy bro.

After my stroke 4.5 years ago, affecting my right side, I couldn't do much with my writing hand. I was able to rehab back to where my right side is working better. Writing now, though legible, is still pretty bad. So the pens are in the closet, only to be admired rather than used. Sad
Does Mean I Must Buy High End Shaving Gear?
