Razor: Gillette SS 1947 (Birth Razor)
Blade: Gillette Platinum (3)
Brush: Ever Ready 100T Boar
Soap: Route 66 Sweeny Todd
A/S: Myrsol Aqua Balsamica
Balm: Route 66 Sweeny Todd

The 1947 SS worked perfectly again today. The 100T has thinned considerably, so it is time to restore and replace the knot. That being said, even with a dying shave brush the Route 66 Sweeny Todd whipped up amazingly. The Sweeney Todd shaving soap is brimming with the aroma of delicious Sicilian blood oranges, with their signature spicy berry undertone, blended with a hint of fir, warmed on a rich woody base. Truly an amazing fragrance.
This handcrafted traditional shaving soap is formulated for a long lasting, slick lather, protective cushion and glide with a soothing post shave conditioning. The Route 66 Sweeny Todd after shave balm just is one of the best closing statements a shave could have. IMHO
Have a great Sunday everyone.

Is that the original knot in the 100T? I've got a TGN Finest in mine and I love it. If you don't already have someone in mind to do your restore, I can recommend someone. (Or maybe you do it yourself?)

Nice pic and excellent scent, that Sweeney Todd!

Anyone know how to get blood off an alum block?

Just let some warm water run on it for a while.
A light scrubbing with an old toothbrush can speed things up a bit.

If that doesn't work try a little hydrogen peroxide.

Mickey
