Hello, I've been wet shaving ever since I was about 20 or so... My father purchased me an electric razor, which is what he uses when I first started to grow a beard

.. Of course that just led to too much irritation and left over hairs on my neck.  So I began using the free Gillette Mach 3 which arrived in the mail. No more left over hairs, but still irritation.  That's when I starting doing my research and found all of the great gear and learned how to really shave. Of course it sucked me in. I have at least 20 brushes, which for me is way too much, only god knows how much soap and the rest is a guess. It's definitely got a hold of me now, but in a good way.. Ha ha... But never a hair is left on my face and No irritation. I mean that's what I was after in the start. Alright nice to meet you all. Sincerely, parkdc4

Welcome to DFS. I grew up in Central Jersey, but have not lived there since I escaped at the end of the last century.

Yeah t.v. Doesn't ever seem to accurately depict NJ. Well maybe some spots, but its actually pretty varied throughout. I will tell you one thing.  It's definitely crowded, and growing more so each year. I have no idea why?

I actually loved growing up in the Garden State, and still wear it as a badge of pride. My little town is right on the NE Corridor line, so I could easily take the train to college in New Brunswick and commute to Manhattan for my first job after college. Driving-free trips to NYC were frequent and a privilege. Spending long stretches of summers with my grandparents in Seaside Park was also wonderful.

As a teen, I frequented Island Beach State Park all summer Happy2
