Wolfman WR2 Head Discussion

IME with the 1.05 and the .95 gaps, the 1.05 is more efficient and still exceptionally smooth and easy on the skin. The .95 reduces efficiency, but also blade feel. It’s a trade off but not by much in either direction.

All that said, I plan to get a 1.15 gap to try and will either sell the .95 or 1.15 depending on the shave. Will the increased efficiency of the 115 be worth the extra blade feel? I don’t yet know....

My stubble from my shave day before yesterday is still minimal and if I wanted to, I could actually go one more day with out shaving. #WR2highlyefficient
Of course I really want to use the WR2 1.25 again so I will be Shaving today!

Well mine came yesterday and I couldn't be happier. 1.05 wrh7. Even though it was my first shave with this razor I couldn't believe how little stubble I had when I woke up this morning. I'm sure as my technique with it improves it'll get better. Shaved again today just because well, it's the new shiny object and I want to use it. This is a crazy smooth razor for me. The blade feel is minimal and would prefer a touch more so maybe a 1.15 in the future but I was blown away by how close and comfortable my shaves have been with it.

I did end up waiting until this morning for my second shave with the WR2 1.25. Used a fresh Feather blade this morning and just an outstanding 2.5 pass BBS. This razor really is at the top of anyone’s game right now. The hollow stainless handle is about the same weight as a titanium handle and the way it feels with this head is unmatched right now. First pass with the OC side WTG mowed down 3 days worth of growth from the last shave with the WR2. Second pass with the SB side ATG took the rest down and the half pass XTG got it super close. Extremely impressed with this razor!!
