Fully machined high grade stainless,

Flawless finish

Probably over an hour of hand polishing

Some of the best designs in the business

Made by 1 man from start to finish.

There is nothing wrong with an EJ89 but it won't last a lifetime and comparing it to a Wolfman is like comparing a Honda Civic to a Rolls Royce.

The problem with the Honda-Rolls analogy is that there is no doubt that the Rolls gets you to your destination with a smoother, more comfortable ride. But there is no mention of any detectable superior performance from a Wolfman over other razors.

After a 30% to 40% increase, a Wolfman razor should cost about $400 each!!  Is this correct?

I'm not sure about that math,  I think you are quoting post July 1 prices.   In any event,  James razors are under priced in my opinion,  they should sell for more considering the quality,  finish and manual time that goes into them.  A half way decent stainless steel watch is $2k to 5k with a $150 swiss movement that won't last many lifetimes.

I didn't touch on that point simply because how a razor shaves is very personal so it's tough to claim a razor "shaves better". I would definitely say that wolfman designs are better, the way the blade is held and the tolerance level, that is a big deal.

The largest factor is you are buying something that will last a lifetime or more, we can't say that about a zamak razor.

Most people keep multiple razors anyways which adds up to the price of a Wolfman. Some people don't need a razor that costs so much, but I don't need more than one razor; might as well go with the one that works the best for me.
