It's perfectly good water which I use in my soap, shaving cream, shaving soap and liquid soap production! $.89 a gallon is a great price too!

I have a water softener but still rinse my soaps. I just can't see the point in saving old lather, plus I like my soaps clean. But what I really don't understand is why so many people post pictures of soaps for sale with used lather left on them.

Yeah, that is kinda gross to sell soap that still has used lather and possibly stubble on it. I bought one sight unseen off another forum like that. I rinsed off that layer of soap and then let it air dry for a couple days and have suffered no ill consequences.

Totally agree with this. At least clean it off if you're going to sell or trade it.
