I just want to update the thread. So the next morning, my samples were in the box along with the rest of my mail so someone must have been nice and dropped it off overnight.

Let me just say this about the Donkey Milk/Tallow soaps from Wholly Kaw: I am absolutely blown away by the performance. Its been quite a while since a soap has impressed me from a performance standpoint like this. This soap builds the creamiest, slickest most protective lather I've used to date. Unreal performance and the lather looks other-worldly. I will be buying many of these soaps, many as this is without a doubt the best performing soap I've ever used.

The only other two in the ballpark with WK are Oleo Soapworks and Grooming Department. WK, for me, tops both of them though.

I wonder if I've truly found the sweet spot of Oleo yet. I have three pucks of it with another Canard base soap on the way. Granted, they perform fantastic but Wholly Kaw is definitely much better to me. Grooming Dept is on the clock and will be getting checked out soon and I very much look forward to it. Still though, I can't imagine anything any better right now than Wholly Kaw, my shaves with it so far have been absolutely incredible and right now my face feels fantastic! I very much look forward to acquiring some other scents as well as trying out anything new Wholly Kaw has to offer, they have made me a repeat customer and then some with these Donkey Milk soaps.

You should try their new Lav Sublime. My most favorite one yet. Not an intense scent...very balanced..and much more subtle than most WK scents.

I just received Lav Sublime last week, and I agree, it’s one of their best. Wonderful blend of Lavender and Lime, I’m going to use the heck out of this one during the Spring/Summer. My Wife appreciates that it’s more of a suttle scent  than some of the cologne type scents.

Yes. They really nailed this one. I also prefer simpler....non-cologne scents. Happy to have one in the amazing WK DM base. BTW, I am paring it with T&H West Indian Limes ASB. Works great...very complementary...

I agree!! I posted a similar observation a few months ago on SRP. Great stuff!!

I received my first Wholly Kaw (WK) last week: Lav Sublime. I am very impressed with WK. The scent is fantastic. It is one of the best performing soaps in my collection (in the top 3). I did not need to use aftershave balm. After rinsing, my skin felt conditioned and not dry at all. I used Stirling Lime Aftershave about an hour after shaving, and it was a good compliment to WK Lav Sublime.

Speaking of lime....I really hope one day soon they’ll bring back Coconut & Lime.....but in the Donkey Milk base!
