Really wish WK would make a light scent for the spring/summer. Maybe a light citrus...or lemon or lime...In the donkey milk base of course!

I think there are going to be some single note scents coming in the spring that might include lime.

I only use their Donkey Milk soaps. Vegans and non-DMs don’t perform nearly as well for me.

I wonder if its a water issue? The Wholly Kaw vegan base and the non DM tallow base soaps performed very well for me. I have a water softener.

I live in a soft water area. In my experience, soaps definitely perform differently for different people. Different skin types, shaving hardware, shaving style...etc...Very YMMV....That’s why I tell people there is no best soap. There are soaps that are best for you though.

So true, soap, like blades is very subjective. If you look at the threads on best and worst blades or favourite soaps you will see products that are hated by some but loved by others. Thats the beauty of wet shaving, there is truly something for everyone.

Sometimes it can also be just the day, too. (And the combination of equipment used, the time of day, the amount of time available, etc.) I’d like to think that I’m experienced enough to maintain some level of consistency, yet a certain soap can be quite good on one day, and some other day it’ll be absolutely fantastic.

Of course, what sets a really good soap apart is that it’s always fantastic. (Never had a bad experience with WhollyKaw.)
