Monaco Royale is on the milder side of scent strength. I have not used any other WK.
I agree on Jabonman - excellent product.

Used Monaco Royale for the first time the other day and it's certainly a top tier soap for me, definitely in the top 10. I agree on the scent being on the lighter side but it's still a very nice scent.

Michael, you must have confused me with someone else as I had not responded to this thread until now.  Shy

Sorry, celestino, it was Marko 's post to which I was responding. I've corrected it in that post.

Certainly. For me top tier includes Barrister and Mann, L&L Grooming, Tallow +Steel and now Wholly Kaw.

Scent strength is decent - Man From Mayfair is really nice although its probably the mildest WK scent I've sniffed. Monaco Royale has excellent strength as does Chypre Rose Concerto, Washington's Blend, Jamestown Gentleman, Fougere Bouquet and I've got a couple more I haven't tried yet - Lav Sublime Concerto, Dark Vetiver and Vetivertal. Scent in a soap is very important to me and Wholly Kaw delivers.

Sounds like WK might be too light for me. Reason I go with B&M, Jabonman, Mickey Lee, Sterling is I like a strong scent presence (have moustache so don't have soap right under my nose). Like CRSW does lovely delicate scents but they are all too light for me.

Lots of love for L&L here, which is new to me. What is their scent strength like? Thanks!

Thats fine, it will leave more of that great donkey milk formula for the rest of us Big Grin Seriously, I'd give Monaco Royale a try before you write them off. I'm not sure how you take away from my earlier comments that WK is too lightly scented. As I said, among my favourite soaps are Barrister and Mann. I have probably 50 tubs and its the scent and the performance that I like. If it was only performance I'd have far fewer of them.

Wow, I'm surprised you find Stirling Soaps strong scented.  I not only find them weak but some I cannot smell at all.  Their performance is excellent but I find there are other soaps with a stronger scent presence.  I, too, have a moustache but that doesn't seem to be the problem.  Perhaps we are more sensitive to some scents than others.

If you can believe it, the donkey milk addition makes it even better! Best base I've used. Chypre Rose Concerto is my favorite from him Smile

man I picked up a tub of Man From Mayfair and your right, the donkey milk is a terrific formula, even though the regular tallow is excellent soap formula, this may be a slight improvement (if its possible) in the skincare depot. and post shave feel.
