Love my Mikes Hungarian lavender

Fellowship of cold water shavers

They have started selling a few of his soaps at Maggards.

For the first pass, I tried following PannaCrema-Marco’s method of lathering and shaving, which relies heavily on the hydration and protection the soap itself provides. It wasn’t a bad pass, but near the end of it the soap was beginning to dry up on both face and blade (no rinses during the pass).

For the second pass and touch-ups, I added more water to the mix, and did end up with a pleasant rest of the shave and very nice post-shave feel. That, and a bathroom that smells like leather. Smile

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
