What soap/cream did you use today?

Noble Otter Two Kings for the first time today. I would say performance is the same as the Orbit, but I prefer the scent and (cool) feel of the Orbit more….

“Worn Leather” is one of the notes in this fragrance. I think it’s supposed to remind me of the barber’s chair (not normally something I care to sniff). The “leather” isn’t strong, but it’s there. I’m not really smelling birch tar, which is usually responsible for creating leather in perfumes. Instead I’m getting immortelle, that honey-and-curry scented flower that reminds some people of maple syrup but makes me think of fenugreek seeds or that little bowl of panch phoron served at the end of an Indian dinner.

By my calculations, I have only used this soap 14 times. It is simply fantastic! I had a sample of Birch + Root and loved the lather, and was so pleased that the unscented made such great lather. I think I must be loading too long, as I used this soap exclusively this week and noted that a 45 second load took too long to get the lather right, and even 30 seconds or less made a thick paste. I will be getting another tub soon, maybe even next week if this stuff is on sale. Great soap and the maker put together this tub at my request as he didn't have any up the website at that time, but they are there now!
