Indian Flavour Cream has been working perfectly. I may stick with it until I figure out how to burnish the glide. There’s nothing wrong with it right now, but I think that with a little tinkering I’ll be able to work this into a super slick lather.

Bouki, does the mint in Indian Flavour provide any relief from the heat? Or is just enough to keep the heat away during the shave?
HoosierShave, the mint in this soap gives the lather a pleasant cooling sensation, but it doesn't outlive the shave. If I really want to feel cool for a good twenty or thirty minutes after I put my razor down, I add a few twists from the menthol mill or a couple of Frost Drops.

I forgot yesterday was the first of the month and used something other than one of the last two "gotta finish 'em this year" soaps.  So today, it was back to overloading the brush and enjoying the great Forest City Fern scent

Mint Ice Menthol Cream v. (Meißner Tremonia) minty eucalyptus

This is the third – and the chilliest – of Meißner Tremonia’s mentholated creams. How cool is it? If Indian Flavour is like standing under a shady tree on a warm summer’s day, and Gentle Menthol is like a brisk walk on an early spring morning, then Mint Ice Menthol is more like a stroll one evening late into fall when there's just a hint of snow in the air. Compared to other heavily mentholated soaps on the market, though, Mint Ice Menthol is fairly tame. There’s no threat of frostbite, even after several passes. To rectify this situation, today I added some of Stirling’s Frost Drops. These happy little additions to your shave are nothing more than menthol dissolved in water and glycerin with an emulsifier thrown in to help keep it all together. They’re pretty strong. Even though the cap was closed, I couldn’t leave the bottle of Frost Drops on my desk since the menthol burned my eyes. A few drops of this potent brew make for a chilly lather, and when you dump a generous squirt into an already mentholated soap, you can expect thirty minutes of shivers.

It is very difficult to describe it, especially since I am not an expert in this profession. Light, marine, perfumery scent. Something remotely reminiscent of Island man. Medium strength. But, very nice. I really like it. Really resembles the seaside.

Very busy day with no time to post but this morning I used Mystic Waters Poggio dei Pini and this soap is getting to be a short timer.  Still smells great though.  Yes, the brush handle is ugly but that’s one I use to mess around with new knots to figure out where to loft them.
