What soap/cream did you use today?

The only constant in my shaving is change.  Just when I think I’m going to settle in with one or two razors, soaps, and brushes three new brushes and a box of sample knots show up and I’m back to everything being different every day.  I don’t live like that anywhere else in my life.  Same lady for 34 years and counting.  I’ve worn out four baseball gloves but it wasn’t all four at the same time.  I have one favorite steak porterhouse), one favorite hotel chain (Marriott), one favorite rental car (Avis).  I have a favorite whitewater gear dealer (NRS), a favorite fly rod maker (Sage), and a favorite boot maker (Kenetrek).  My favorite drift boat is Hyde.  My favorite sneaker Mfg is Adidas.  Although I am a mustard nut, my favorite is still workaday Frenchs.  My favorite candy bar is Milky Way and my favorite snack are salted peanuts.  So why, pray tell do I have so much shaving gear?  Today saw a new brush in silver tip but an old soap in AOS sandalwood.  That sandalwood or Doms Sir Henrys could be my daily driver and I probably wouldn’t miss the others.  No wait!  Yes I would.  See you all tomorrow with a totally different setup.

Wholly Kaw Chypre Parfaite. This scent is semi-similar to Chypre Rose Concerto. They definitely share some DNA, but smelling them side-by-side, the CRC smells brighter and more floral. Either way - I love 'em both. 

Laugar Rimfrost

Soap Commander Love (True Rose) shaving soap. It makes good but not great lather, with a great scent. Now that I am getting several backups of the wonderful AoS Rose Absolute cream, I may not keep this soap.
