There's no compulsion to make the puck last. In fact, it's not uncommon to gobble up four grams of this soap per shave. What comes out is a super rich, sour creamy lather that keeps my hot-'n-bothered hide happy on these sultry end of summer days.I know what you mean.
I overload the brush with the soaps I like the least, so I end up with a bowl of lather pr0n. It generally improves the shave results.
The only soaps I've not finished by shaving are:
- TOBS Sandalwood. I gave it to my son because the scent is a bit too fart-like for me. Nothing like Proraso Red or Truefitt & Hill's Sandalwood.
- Captain's Choice Bay Rum - smells too much like Bay Rum. I have not found anybody to trick into accepting it.
- Anointment Natural Skin Care Shave Soap - a locally-made product that I bought at the weekly Farmers Market. It has flaxseed in it. Big chunks of (supposedly ground) flaxseed. I've relegated it to a hand soap.
We could be Heroes, just for one day.
