I have 9 Tcheon Fung Sing soaps and I am pleased with all.  I will probably purchase more.

Great day in the morning!  I shaved my Covid beard off this morning, not because Covid is over but because my Anesthitist Son-in-law told me that a clean shave makes it easier to make a mask Seal and keep me alive during an upcoming total knee replacement.  Well, last I checked, I like being alive.  In fact the only one that benefits from my passing will be my wife and her insurance policy.  But I digress.  Brothers, although I am a beard grower, I am not a beard lover.  The ladies in my life are split but all of them agree, beard or no beard I am a ridiculously beautiful Man so off came the whiskers.  Check out what I used.  Tommy, that is an old tub of Black Tie Razor #13 soap and a vial of El Jefe scent.  When Dominick and his team got started they offered a scent-free soap (#13) and choices of scent oils that allowed a guy to choose the scent and strength  for the morning.  I picked Up the El Jefe and Casino Royale. The soap came in a classic glass jar that was a bit smaller in diameter than I like so I transferred it to a wider tub.  I still have that jar.  It’s in the safe and contains some Montana Sapphires that I need to send to Dominick who is also a jeweler of renown.  I didn’t know that until years after I got the soap I used this morning. So the soap:  #13 is a super creamy base.  I added 6 drops of El Jefe and whipped up a wonderfully slick emulsion.  El Jefe is tobacco leaf vs tobacco flower.  There is nothing sweet about this scent except for the manly sweetness it is.  Been 5 weeks since my last full three pass shave and this was glorious.  (Oh, and Dom, I really do intend on sending you these sapphires once I get settled on a design that my bride will like).

Another in a long series of soaps I could happily use every morning. Mike's isn't a particularly dirty vetiver, but it is rich and rooty and pleasantly nutty on the side. It also lasts forever. I got this tub four years ago, and though I've dipped into it over twenty times, there's hardly a dent in the puck. I'll probably still be lathering this jar of soap a decade from now. With turnover rates like that, how do soap cookers stay in business?

The Economist in me wants to think shaving soap is a consumable but seldom it is I see what the bottom of a soap tub looks like.  Perhaps that’s why the makers sell so many seasonal and LE soaps.  Tough business.

Alas, the world just wasn't ready for that concept.
