Latha: Le Petit Chypre (Barrister & Mann) petitgrain, oakmoss, labdanum

If this intriguing scent is what a ‘little’ chypre smells like, I can’t wait to plant my nose in Le Grande Chypre, due out of Cooperstown in about ten days. As a lead up, I think I’ll take a tour of all my samples of Will’s soaps. The scents may range widely from banal, to bodacious, to bizarre, but one thing that always stays the same is the excellent quality of shave.

Bouki, I much prefer Le Grande Chypre to Le Petit and I think you will too. I was PIFed a tub of Le Petit a while back and I didn't really like the scent all that much so I PIFed it to somebody else. It was too sharp or bitter to my nose IIRC. Le Grande Chypre has more sweetness to it and other floral notes to round it out. A very nice scent.

OT, today I used Mike's Wild Honeysuckle.
