Very camp fireish. Tree bark scent if that makes sense Jeff!  It's quite nice but I want to finish the jar before May/June as its a colder scent to me.  I LOVE Citron & Lavish. Larry's soap base has become my second favorite after Mike's of course.

I agree, it is a fantastic scent.  It seems like a paradox but it us simultaneously clean, woody, and smokey. To me it is a year round scent. The clean and woody fragrances work well in the summer months while the money scent works well in the cool weather (particularly fall).

I own citron, cypress, and lavish. That is also my order of preference.

is the Cypress' scent comparable to the scent of L&L Darkfall?

I can't comment. I do not own dark fall. Sorry.

I reckon I'll get yelled at for this.

I like it and will use it until it's gone. Then I'll use a brush and a soap that I have.

Oud-Santal (Le Père Lucien) sandalwood, oudh

This is sandalwood with a dab of oudh humming softly in the background. It’s not overly sweet sandalwood, and the oudh lacks those dark fruity notes that make some specimens so addictive, but Cyril has blended the scents well, and as you lather the soap, you may get the impression of a good stick of Japanese incense softly burning in the next room.
