Shaver Heaven - Forbidden Forest

Scent on this soap is divine, wish the performance was a tad better though

Colgate Barber shaving soap (vintage) + Hermès Terre d'Hermès shaving cream, excellent together.

The Real Shaving Company. Once again soaps and creams form Europe that are generally used in barbershops are excellent performers and reasonably priced.

Trismegistus (L&L Grooming) Terre d’Hérmes

Scott's overloaded his soap with skin conditioning botanicals that keep my hide plump all day, and he's been just as generous with his scents. No one will fault L&L for wimpy smelling soap. When the tiny lid comes off my sample of Trismegistus, the whole room fills with the grapefruit and cedar top notes of Terre d’Hérmes. Twelve hours after my shave, I can revive the smell of this morning’s soap by passing my hand across my bristly chin. It’s like brushing past a fir tree on a rainy walk and being surprised by the sudden swell of scent.

My sample of Trismegistus grows softer and softer. I wonder if it will morph into a cream before I’m done with it.
