Adirondack Jack (Mystic Water) oak moss, patchouli, tobacco with a squib of tangerine
Fruity pipe tobacco, warm woody notes, and some discreet patchouli make this a perfect soap for a day off. It’s as comfortable as an old shoe and leaves your face smooth and smiling. If I could have pulled it off gracefully, I would have celebrated the day by dragging an old overstuffed leather chair out on the back deck, and then plopping my carcass down in it to greet the dawn like “stately, plump Buck Mulligan” – with a blade and a bowl of foaming lather. I admire the man who can shave without a sink or spigot, making do with a dish towel or the flick of his wrist. I'm afraid I've taken the wet part of this preoccupation of ours far too seriously. I'm sure Adirondack Jack found perfect shaving satisfaction with a tin can half full of lake water and a bit of soft moss.
