Indian Flavour Cream v. (Meißner Tremonia) mint chutney

The Bic Chrome Platinum is the sharpest blade in my box. In an aggressive razor, or even in a moderate one, it can be murder. But in a mild razor with a good slick lather, it’s a pleasure. With some careful maneuvering it can even give me a decent one-pass shave, and that’s something I’m looking for now as things heat up and the sticky weather sets in. At this time of year my hide goes all soft on me and becomes prone to razor burn. Three-pass shaves become a thing of the past, and even two passes can lead to some irritation. For the next few months I’ll be looking for the perfect one-and-done shave routine.

Indian Flavour Cream has been working perfectly. I may stick with it until I figure out how to burnish the glide. There’s nothing wrong with it right now, but I think that with a little tinkering I’ll be able to work this into a super slick lather.

I suppose I’m going to have to buy some Bics again.  Tried them twice and didn’t find them sharp at all.  Everyone mentions they are sharp leaving me to think perhaps I got two boxes of dogs.

Bouki, does the mint in Indian Flavour provide any relief from the heat? Or is just enough to keep the heat away during the shave?

Used Meissner Tremonia Indian Flavour through an entire jar over the course of a hot humid GA Summer. Found the scent lovely but the post shave less than satisfactory even following up with witch hazel and Trumpers Skin Food. Your results likely to be better as my skin exceedingly damaged and sensative but would recommend trying other EU soaps if averse to domestic artisans. Had much better results with ABC, SMN, MdC, CF although do appreciate the incredible packaging of Meissner Tremonia.
