Shannon's is a terribly underrated soap that I truly enjoy. Today was Lady Luck and this one is an amber-fest and I do like it a lot. The best part is catching the sandalwood when the top notes clear out. This maker is truly better than most and I don't understand why we don't see more of her soaps being discussed on this forum.

Shannon is one of the masters of the craft.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Mint Ice Menthol Paste v. (Meißner Tremonia) peppermint, menthol, eucalyptus
This paste is pretty soft. It’s disappearing about as fast as the ice cube in my orange juice this hot afternoon. There may be thirty shaves in this jar total. So MIM is a luxury that I pull out only when I’m just about to suffocate under a blanket of heat and humidity. It’s a lifesaver then. And though the lather isn’t as thick as the triple-milled version, it still gives a close easy shave.
