I'm on a boar brush kick of late but that's not a soap or cream.  I've been working through some samples of a new soap base for one of our artisans that I am not at liberty to share yet.  That is what is in the bowl in the picture.  Wow!  Soaps are so great now and these samples were hard to determine which were better than others.  Great lather.  Stirling-esque slickness and protection.  But the scent!  Man thes cats do great scent.  I'll let the cat out as soon as I have clearance.  Great stable lather even in my hard water.  You will already know the name.

Crema da Barba v. (Santa Maria Novella) eucalyptus, menthol, Tobacco Toscano cologne

Craving a bit of menthol this hot afternoon, I pulled out this tub of Crema da barba. It has a light cooling effect that’s hardly noticeable until the second pass, but after three swabbings, you will feel cool and clean. The scent of Tobacco Toscano cologne lasts far longer than the chill of the menthol. It’s a rich brown fragrance that's probably best suited for autumn and winter, but I enjoyed it very much today, even though we’re still in the deep green summer weather.

I've enjoyed the scents and performance of a few WCS soaps but today was the 1st use of a WCS cream....wow!  This stuff is nice and slick and the scent, oh my, the scent!  It's probably not for everyone but it is a "dirty" citrus type scent.  Think along the lines of picking up a grapefruit which just fell from the tree.  This is not a "cut open and take a big whiff"...this scent is more earthy.  Really, really happy I decided to take a chance on this one and it pairs up amazing well with Chatillon Lux La Quatrième Ville AS

BTW, can anyone confirm that Catie's Bubbles is the artisan making this cream?  I thought I had read that somewhere but now I can't find anything regarding who makes the cream

XPEC Unscented shaving cream (v.1) + Pacifica Sandalwood perfume.  This thick cream makes wonderful lather, but I like to have a scent in it, so I add a couple drops of the perfume while whipping it up.
