What soap/cream did you use today?

Tierra Húmeda v. (Eufros) vetiver

I used TH for three weeks without realizing there’s no moo in the mix. I thought Eufros Premium soaps were all made with tallow. I just checked the ingredients printed on the bottom of the tin. My Spanish is pretty lousy, but I don't see any cow fat (sebo). Apart from the lanolin, TH is all vegetable. This explains the lighter lather I’ve been getting, and the excellent close shaves. It also shows just how little difference there is now between the performance of tallow and non-tallow soaps. Jojoba, castor, lanolin, Shea butter, glycerin, and rhassoul make for a fine finish.

I'm a day behind so I'll post two.  Yesterday was Black Tie Razors Black Velvet.  This one is vetiver and black pepper and boy do I like vetiver.  Lather is excellent and easy. Finish is no slouch.  The label is muted and classic.

Today was Phoenix Artisans Cavendish.  Smells like a sweet pipe tobacco but not like I remember from my youth (neighbor smoked a pipe).  It's good.  Strength is about a 6.5 and fades on lathering.  Soap performance is spot on and finish is top shelf.
