I adore the scent of Trumpers Violets. Floral forward as the name implies but a batch of masculinity backing the flowers. This is vintage potassium palmate first and lathers creamy. Current sodium palmate first ingredient soap doesn't lather well for me. Scent strength is a 5/10 but I sense no fading during the shave.

Felce Aromatica v. (Saponificio Varesino) ★★★★★ light green fougère
When perfumers talk about aromatic notes, they're usually referring to herbal scents such as rosemary, thyme, and lavender. When I pick up Felce Aromatica, though, I don't get that kitchen garden vibe. This is mostly green, like fields of new hay or an acre of lawn on a dewy morning. There's very little by way of oak moss, and while the lavender is unmistakeable, it's not prominent. I don't pick up any spice at all. If Azzaro pour homme is your idea of the perfect aromatic fougère, you may be disappointed with this soap's clean mild fragrance.
