It’s got a nice long handle that’s very comfortable and the knot is incredible. Not much loft so lots of backbone but it’s got these awesome hooked gel tips that lathers like a dream.

I tracked it down, its called the Victorian.  I guess Rooney brushes are hard to find now a days and no longer made.  This one is great.

That's the Victorian.  Very nice brush!  We've made a few under the M&F name, but a bear to get right. Smile

Enjoy!

I don't really understand the ways of the brush making world - would you have made it under licence?

Its funny how I wound up with the brush because I didn't set out to get it. Several years ago when I was just starting out wet shaving I had bought an eShave silver tip brush. It was nice enough but I accidentally destroyed it by thinking I could better warm my shaving scuttle with boiling water - I didn't soak the brush in boiling water but the scuttle got so hot that it melted the glue in the brush and gobs of bristles started coming out of the brush and didn't stop. I saw an identical brush at a local shop and bought it but it shed so severely that I returned it and exchanged it for the Rooney Victorian - it was the only brush they had that interested me. I wasn't having another eShave. I initially found the Rooney to be a little stiff for my tastes but I guess tastes change. Before last week I hadn't used it in a couple of years. I find it really nice this time around.
