Jk, of course, but that was a funny statement.

Haha!
I think the comment was likely aimed at the light, powdery scent of unused diapers. But even then, I don't find them similar in scent.

Big Grin  Yes, I think that's too much of a stretch, even for me, lol......

Yeah - the smell of a pile of band-aids, gauze/sanitary napkin + a funk (not necessarily poop). not sure how else to describe it. How about this - the coconut smelled nothing like coconut. Smile

Pretty picture. Crank up the contrast and get in close. Distant pictures smoothed out are pretty but don't really show what is going on.
Sure thing grim, I love a challenge! Not sure if this is what you had in mind or not, but I think the photos demonstrate well the kind of lather this stuff is capable of producing.  Rich, dense and hydrated with VERY fine air bubbles #HaslingerMacro!

I recently tried Haslinger Honig and was very impressed with it in all departments

Smell: to my nose it was a very subtle, but well pronounced and pleasant smell of raw honey, just from the beehive.
Lather: I thought that MDC explodes with lather... This little yellow pack of HH beats MDC in my books. The HH soap is thirsty, but once well saturated, the lather is exceptionally dense, voluminous and slick. Additionally, the HH lather has a beautiful golden hue.
Aftershave feeling: after reading many reviews I decided to wait and did not use any aftershave splash or balm for longer than 30 minutes after I completed shaving. Though my face was not as moist and glossy as after Nuavia, the skin felt absolutely clean, hydrated, and relaxed.

The only "complaint" I have is the small size of the puck. I wish it was as big as MWF or Saponificio Varesino...

I bought a few pucks, it's a good soap but not great IMHO, I guess I was expecting a lot more due to all the hype, I think part of the reason why it's so popular is that they offer a lot of different scents and for the price of each puck it makes it easier for people to want to try all the different options as far as scents go.

I wish the scents were better, the performance however is similar to Valobra, C&S, Tabac.

I do like the SdM performance better.

@Jordel

You say it's a "good soap, not great....the peformance is similar to Valobra, C&C, Tabac".

So is your ranking of good, mostly because of the weak scent or are the other compatible soaps listed also only good in terms of your performance scale?

Scents play a huge part in rating for some, which I fully understand. Just looking to see how you rate those other 3 in terms of performance as they are three highly regarded soaps by a wide range of members.
