Edwin Jagger DE89 with Gillette Rubie blade. I started wet shaving with this EJ and have tried a number of other razors over the last few years. Each shave with the EJ is a joy. For me it's the perfect balance of smoothness, aggressiveness, efficiency, and weight.

Last night I used my new Gillette Slim Adjustable with a Sharp Star blade. It was a little rough, but it's a new razor and blade combo so it may have been me.

I don't usually fall for branding when it comes to a product, but Sharp Star just sounds and looks cool. Got a hundred pack on the way. I read they were a one off production from 2012 so I snatched them up.

I got the Gillette Slim from a local antique store. It was in the original box and looked practically brand new. $45.00, not bad. I like buying local so I can handle the thing before I buy it. All of my razors are "local".[Image: wUUklQe.jpg]

I love mine. I find it to be mildly aggressive and forgiving at the same time. The finish on mine is pretty much long gone but I am gonna try some Flitz this weekend, I think.
