Last night I was pressed for time, so I grabbed my Old Faithful setup of a 48-50 Super Speed with Gillette 7o'clock green blade and did a quick 2-pass shave, WTG/ATG for a sub-15minute shave with fantastic results.
It was my first time "head lathering" as well. I managed to generate a very reasonable lather in very short time, but I definitely enjoy the process of building my lather in a scuttle WAY more, and I absolutely enjoy applying a thick, rich lather that is almost fully developed WAY more than building that lather on my scalp... Still in all, it's nice to know I can easily and quickly generate a quality lather without the time-consuming process of using my scuttle.[but then again, saving time was never an option...]
