I know there is a "what do you use today" thread and a SOTD with Pix. That's cool. This is a bit different.

What is your Summer, 2016 rotation?  Inquiring minds want to know. Or do use the same thing, day after day after day?

In the Hot, Summer days I've been rotating through, in no particular order:

A. MDC Lavender

B. Klar Sport, and

C. MWS Violet

With a bit of GFT Rose once in a while

The MDC lathers in a blink of an eye and is routinely and mundanely (in a good mundane way), excellent and lightly scented.

The Klar Sport consistently gives me the closest shaves (IMO the best cushion) and lasts forever. I might never has to rebuy it.

The MWS Violet is like a  longtime, and old friend. I reach for it for that superb after shave face feel with a summer violet scent

And the GFT Rose? What''s summer without the scent of roses? And GFT knows its scents in a most excellent way.

I will use a bit of everything I have, mainly because in the UK the weather is so random it can be hot in the morning and freezing at night.

But most often or not I will use scents based on the time of year.

The ones getting the most use right now.

Interesting thread...

I rarely plan ahead on which soaps that I will use and typically just go with the mood.

Having said that, the mood has been very citrus and menthol forward thus far for the summer and some come to mind:

Arctique
Lime, Ice, Sage
Citra Royale
Latha Limon
Tim's Busta's Blend
Stirling MITA [Orange Chill on the way!]
Don Marco

Tallow + Steel Grog has and will get a lot of play this summer too.

We've been using Pecksniff's Grapefruit Citron hand soap in the kitchen.

If they made or make a shave soap in the same scent, I'd buy a case of it!

Do they currently make shave products?

Now That's interesting.

I just felt that Summer Time and the heat - and its in the high 90s feeling like 110 since mid-July, means different scent,

Winter would be more Old Spice, darker type scents while summer more florals, light, green stuff, mentholated ...

This will be interesting to see

I also don't vary my soaps depending on the seasons.
One reason being I only have approximately 16 scents and the other is that I couldn't wait months to try most of my favourite scents. I have a difficult time as it is waiting for scents to come up in the rotation, after only two weeks. Big Grin
