What is your favourite SE blade (for GEM/Star razors)?

Which blade do you prefer among :

• GEM Carbon Steel 
  
• GEM Stainless Steel
  
  
• GEM Stainless Steel Teflon (PTFE)
  
• PAL Blue Carbon Steel

Of the first three, I strongly prefer the PTFE coated, but I haven't tried the PALs.

I find the PTFE coated much smoother.

I use the carbon steel blades from our local CVS drugstore. Not sure where they fall in the above selections. I've tried the PTFE blades, but they just don't work for me.

Yes, I remember now (Thanks Brian)! Their uncoated blades have been tried and they are the pits. Don't do it! They aren't just slightly worse, they are unusable for shaving. That result was quite a surprise.

I've received a sample pack of all four blades. I will try them all, even if chances are I will prefer the GEM PTFE like you all suggested.

GEM PTFE ... I have tried the others. One key consideration is availability, for which Connaught's here in the UK carry the coated blades in volume, others are more difficult to come by for a ready supply here. That said, I prefer the shaves from the PTFE blades. The first one can be a little rough, but in the right razor it is soooo efficient.
