I don't see them very often anymore. Also I haven't seen any on Ebay for a while.

Did they become even rarer?

They are at the end of the waitlist and are no longer being made see LA Shaving Co website. That being said it looks like they may be tweeked and come out as a Wolfman razor product in the future.

So, if I make no mistake, this razor became more collectible than ever after that decision.

Just so many mistakes from James. The best machinist out there, but can't say the same about his business and marketing strategy.

Possibly... depends a lot on what happens when Ja,es rereleases the BBS-1, if it’s more readily available when James brings it back to life then not really. Earlier versions of Wolfman Razors aren’t anymore collectible then the current models. We’ll see in a few months, maybe the new one will be even better.

But lower numbered bbs-1 are more expensive than later ones from what I’ve been told. Plus the new bbs-1 will be modified according to James’ so I’m sure people will make the argument that the original is more valuable because is more rare. I’d love to have one, especially the titanium, but not at the current going price.

From my understanding later models of the BBS-1 were also modified, I’m not aware of earlier models being worth more, their after sale prices are already ridiculous.

Dear gents,
what makes the BBS-1 such a desireable razor to have. Is it on account of rarity or, and shaving ability? If it's a great shaver, then how does it compare to the Paradigm 17-4?

Yeah, sure... smh

It's probably the most beautiful modern razor, the craftmanship is out of this world, you had to wait months or more than a year to be able to order one, very very limited availability, a truly great shaver( at least for me) once you find the right angle, the original design is now discontinued etc. Do I need to say more?

Those who had the luck to hold one, understand. Others may be jealous.

The shaving part is totally subjective and opinions differ.

I admire James' work, but he could have taken better decisions. Sometimes I feel he has no idea what he's doing. I read somewhere that BBS-1 was about to be discontinued a month or so ago but after seeing the huge demand on fora, he and John changed their minds. And now this. haha
