I still need to test out this brand. The one I was most interested in trying is XIX March, but Casanova also looks good.

Creed Royal Mayfair

Not sure about this one. Smells decent but the fragrance isnt as "deep" as I have come to enjoy. Im not aure that makes sense to anyone, but its the only way I can describe it. The scent hits the front of my nose, but doesnt "fill" my sinus cavity the way Aventus or Terre d Hermes does...

Great nose BadDad! You are probably smelling and enjoying the sensation provided by ISO-E Super, which is a molecule present in large quantities in Terre d'Hermes. Interestingly, Aventus has a pricier updated version of ISO-E called Timbersilk.

I don't think Royal Mayfair is dosed with these synthetics as heavily if at all. It's not meant to be a powerhouse, but instead has a subtle aura that is very refined. Aventus is my favorite fragrance, though I do enjoy Royal Mayfair very much. If anyone is interested, I reviewed Royal Mayfaid here.

One of Roja Dove's semi-bespoke fragrances for me today.

I do like the fragrance of the Royal Mayfair very much, but I miss the sensation of having the scent fill my entire sinus cavity, if that is the proper way to describe it. Its the only phrase I can come up with...

Totally understand. Some folks love those particular molecules I mentioned. If I had known that ISO-E was so appealing to you (which I should have guessed from your love of Terre d'Hermes) I'd have included more scents that have it in large doses.

Out of what is in the box, the three (other than Terre d'Hermes and Aventus) that include the molecule are as follows:

Terre d'Hermes Parfum (which has even more - you might love this more than the EDT)
Ormonde Jayne Zizan
Bel Ami Vetiver
Bigarade Concentree

That must be it, because I am also VERY fond of the Bel Ami Vetiver. I have yet to try thw other, but I know whats next on the list!

My pleasure! From reading your impressions and you learning your taste, I'm having fun too .

Edit: BadDad, I should add that Zizan is a very different style of composition but has the same sinus feel, if that makes sense. The parfum version of Terre d'Hermes is likely to be your favorite, but you might be interested to know that Bigarade Concentree is by the same perfumer who did Terre d'Hermes (Jean-Claude Ellena). It's much more expensive but also much more simple than Terre d'Hermes, since it's a high end niche version of the same bitter orange theme.
