Hermes D'Orange Verte: which is very disappointing due to lack of sillage and longevity. I wonder it if it is a problem with FragranceNet.com. I thought I would try a tester because it cost so much less, but it has not been a good experience. In particular, the sprayer always falls off upon removing the top and doesn't function particularly well. The lack of quality of the bottle/sprayer makes me doubt that I got the genuine article.

Tom Slick a lot of folks love FragranceNet and other discounters, but in my experience they have not worked out so well (I've received some shady bottles that smell way different from how they should). And yes, Eau d'Orange Verte can be a bit lackluster in terms of performance. That said, sometimes I like those light spritzers. My favorite with that bitter orange scent is Malle's Cologne Bigarade. It also doesn't last very long but it's beautiful.

Some don't like it, but I do.......

It's cheap for a cologne, but I really do like the scent, and it isn't overpowering.

I put on some Green Irish Tweed by Creed this morning. I received a box full of fragrance samples from one of our kind and generous members that is quite the fragrance guru.
The package is a bit overwhelming with about 15 different fragrances to sample, but I like Sharp Dressed Man quite a lot and a I like the WSP Gaelic Tweed beard oil, so I though the Creed would be a familiar place to start. I smell like a clover-laced, dew-moistened hillside as the fog slowly melts in the rising sun.
A bit melodramatic maybe, but I do like this scent quite a lot...
