I’ll have to add that WK Siero base is really performing well. Amazing shave and post shave qualities. I just still need to get the loading right because I’m still winding up with way too much lather...this stuff literally just grows and grows and takes on a ton of water. I haven’t reached a point yet where it has broken down from over hydrating it.
This is an update from my post a year ago. I got a tub of The Body Shop Maca Root and Aloe cream last Christmas. The scent is not my favorite, but the good news is it has a mild scent witch can be mixed with something else. I have also added a drop of my favorite essential oil to it. The Body Shop cream (for me) has the best performance of any soap or cream I have tried (around 30+ as of today). It lathers almost instantly with a synthetic brush, has incredible slickness and (IMHO) the best protection and skin softeners of any soap or cream I have used. So, what about the scent issue? I use my favorite scented soaps and creams, but add a touch of Body Shop Maca Root and Aloe to the bowl. This kicks any soap or cream "up a notch" in protection and slickness. This method still gives you the scent of your primary soap or cream. If you have a lesser performing product, just add a bit of Maca Root and Aloe to make it perform top notch. Last Christmas I also received a tub of George Trumper Rose Cream, which is a great performing cream... and I love the rose scent.
Am I the ONLY one who is in love with D R Harris? They have been around since 1790, so they are doing something right. Yes, Harris is not as sexy as the hyped/overhyped artisan offerings. Some may call Harris a stick-in-the-mud without the pizazz of the new offerings that change frequently and are out of stock more often than I prefer. But Harris performance is absolutely first rate. I happen to prefer the Almond because the scent is weak and my wife has breathing problems.
While we are on the subject, Cyril Salter has the identical same first 9 ingredients as Harris. I am told it is fantastic, and have it on my to-try list. Since the Harris lasts forever, I won't get to the Salter soon.

I typically enjoy products that perform well and are readily available. With that said, my current very best are:
- zingari man sego base. Slickness and post shave are remarkable and you don’t need to trade your first born child for a tub of it. It’s always readily available for purchase.
- declaration grooming milk steak. The hype is real. Easy to use base and both performance and selection of scents are outstanding. Also readily available for purchase.
- Murphy McNeil kodiak base. Had to include this one because i love it so much. The nantahala release is done but I’m so happy to got a set. Effortless shave and outstanding value with their 5oz tub.

Is there any other soap they currently carry with the Kodiak Base?
