Never heard of this stuff before. Comes from Portugal, and the packaging is all Portuguese. I don;t have a clue what any of it says, but Google translate tells me that "Para Depois de Barbear" means "for after the shave", so that's what I did with it...
I actually got this stuff as a gift from a DFS member that had a dull razor that needed some honing. I offered my services, he accepted, and sent this pretty great aftershave balm for me to keep.
Honestly...this stuff is fantastic! VERY cooling, with a perfect hit of menthol, and the fragrance is just fantastic. I detect a hint of lavender, and something that is almost, but not quite, medicinal to it, but truthfully, THIS is what brings my memory to childhood barbershop visits. The subtle floral notes atop medicinal astringents and antiseptics takes me right back to being 5 years old and sitting in the barber's chair while my dad and older brother waited their turns. We're talking 1978, Central NY Barbershop written all over this scent...
And the performance is pretty fantastic as well! Conditions my skin so well, I fear the only issue will be finding more when this tube is gone! So if anyone knows of this stuff, and where I can find it...let me know!
