Hello,
I have a couple WM razors all with various blade gaps but all solid bar base plates. I’d like to trade one or two for a dual comb or open comb.

Here’s what I have:

Polished SS .61 solid bar - looking for a polished .61 OC or DC base plate.

Polished SS .86 solid bar - looking for polished .86 DC base plate.

Antique bronze .74 - looking for antique bronze .74 DC.

Must be in excellent to mint condition as are mine. As always thanks for looking.

You would be well advised to trade entire head assembly. There can be fitment issues when mixing caps and baseplates

Please correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it the top plate that creates the gap...James modifies the top plate to vary the angle/gap?if so, this means the base plates enjoy all the same specs....there is no .61 baseplate just a .61 top plate or whatever gap Wolfman you own.

It’s interesting, I have .a 61, .74.and.86 all interchangeable. Then one random .74 that won’t fit any of the top caps. Not sure why that is.

That’s a negative. It’s the base plate.
