agreed, and we know this razor WILL sell at, or close to, the current asking price. talks of 'hourly rates' and 'price gouging' is basically trolling.

To be fair, OP himself stated that he has factored "time, energy and effort expended by the seller" into the price, so the hourly rate comment wasn't out of nowhere.

Sure but so does everyone else when they're selling something...they just don't state it in their threads.

Living on the edge
Thanks to everyone who's managed to stay out of, or stay neutral, about the whole price thing.
I'm not selling these to fund any more shave gear or meet any emergency...I have a number of
these great razors and will not be needing any more. This just happens to be the one I'm ok with letting go.
As I replied to an enquiry by PM, if you are on the waitlist and fairly optimistic about your position on it,
there can be no better way than the order form to acquire one. If not, then this is an option...that's about it.
If the whole razor presents a problem, the head is priced separately. My notes on pricing clearly spell out
all the considerations from my end. You don't have to agree with, or like them but they are transparently stated.
If someone sees this as unscrupulous activity, feel free to email James Dufour a link to this thread. Cheers!

I would also like to clarify that "time, energy and effort expended by the seller"
does not refer to creating a BST thread, but the actual time and effort that goes into catching
one of the drops. Anyone who doubts this should try it some day if it ever becomes an option again....
it's quite an experience, specially if you aren't based in CONUS.

The head is sold....holding on to the handle as originally planned.
