Good morning, Gentlemen.

If I could jump in for a moment, I just went back through our archives and yes:  this is one of the very first of what we now call the 2XL Bi-Colour handles we created in the early 2017 timeframe.  As far as the knot's concerned, my understanding from Lee is that he occasionally engaged one of gals who worked for him at Rooney to help tie some of the knots during the 2016-2017 timeframe.  But we have no specifics as to how many or which brushes.  The bottom line is that if the brush bears the M&F imprint, it's an M&F brush.

I know there's been recent confusion over who designed/turned handles for Lee.  I won't comment further except to say that Nancy & I expect a write-up from Lee on this and hopefully other subjects soon.

Concurred Alex one of the best people on the shave fora. Have had wonderful experiences with him over the years and the fact he has been so forthcoming regarding this brush is telling in a positive way. GLWS and buyers buy with confidence.

The real bottom line is that it is a beautiful brush and would be a nice addition to anyone's den. I think the tortoise and ivory combination is one of the classiest looking handle combinations. Brad did a super job on this example. Also, Alex (the seller) is a great guy with an outstanding reputation here and on other forums: buy with confidence. I am surprised someone hasn't scooped this up already as it's got a good price too.

Totally agree
