For sale Ikon B1 DLC Base Plate plus CG Bishop Brass "Antique Finish".
The patented B1 coating that covers the head and the iKon B1 OSS plate in stainless steel provides protection from corrosion and stains, protecting stainless steel from the oxidation that is common following exposure to water and soap.
DLC is short for Diamond-Like Carbon, a coating that is applied to the razor head that gives it the black color. General benefits of Diamond-Like Carbon coatings that have been widely published are high wear resistance, low friction coefficient, high corrosion resistance, and even biocompatibility - characteristics that seem to make for a good coating choice for an object that glides across the skin to remove hair.
Warning:
The CG Bishop handle has engraved on the knot of the handle, as you can see from the photos, the abbreviation "GIU".

This handle measures 3.5 inches in length and has an average weight of 70 grams, the surface finish "Antique Finish" is no longer available for purchase.
A clarification (for correctness): due to a misunderstanding occurred in the past on another Forum, I was
returned a razor not quite in the state in which I had shipped it and the buyer claimed that I shipped the razor
in that state.Too bad that on that forum the buyer was quite "known" for these performances.
Moral: I do not like and do not accept returns.
