May I ask why? I found lots of sellers did the same so I thought it's okay to delete the listing price before you mention it. No problem though.

Whenever I sell an item I change the price to $OLD. good luck the sale!
Which is against the forum rules.

good on you...nothing wrong with that.
On most e-commerce sites it says
'this item is sold out'.

yes there is. the rules on DFS state to leave the price(s) in tact so people can help gauge the market when listing/buying stuff. please stop telling people to not follow the rules on DFS. we probably have the fewest rules of any shaving forum you'll find out there...

Really Tester28, what is the big issue with leaving the sold price in your ad?

I've used this forum for years and love the fact that a quick search shows what folks have paid for items and what i can expect to pay or sell an item for.  I'm thankful when I see pricing listed even after the item has sold.

WTF. There clearly is something wrong with that, on this website.

This is not an e-commerce site....thankfully.

Showing the item sold and price listed at helps buyers and sellers gauge the vintage market since there isn't some fixed price list or msrp guidance to use like with new items.
