Happy Thursday, all!

I have a number of items (mostly straights I'm looking to sell to downsize a bloated collection.) All prices include shipping.
Very limited trade interests, which include:

   Chosera 1k
JNAT (very hard, also looking into nagura progression stones)

The Items:

Straights

  • 8/8 +/- Wostenholm IXL - I paid close to $400 for this thing, all said and done, yours for $200. Restored and put into blonde streaked horn scales, this is a smooth shaver that is a phenomenal example of Sheffield steel. Honed with one layer of tape on a coticule. Let me know if you want it refreshed, it's been sitting unused while I've been having a field day with my RigaRazor.  Full album here.

  • PRC 8/8 +/- Custom - I paid $375 or so for this razor, had it rescaled into the new faux tortoise. You can get something comparable from PRC for $255 - $275 with a 2 month wait, this one is yours for $175 shipped. Honed with 2 layers of electrical tape on a coticule, but as with the prior one, let me know if you want a refresh on it. Smooth shaver, I preferred this to older Hart razors by far. The steel is very comfortable and smooth on the face.  Full album here.

  • SOLD Koraat Custom 8/8 - Going through Ulrik's configurator, this razor would cost about $275 new today.  It is 8/8 in width, stabilized birch burl scales, quarter hollow grind with brass pins and spacer.  This thing is super beefy and recreates vintage Sheffield steel's feel the best out of any modern razor I've tried.  It wipes whiskers away in a mellow and very non-aggressive manner.  I'm still severely impressed at how tiny this bevel is...  It has been honed with one layer of tape on a coticule.  Yours for $175 shipped.  Full album here.

  • SOLD Filarmonica JMP POU 14 8/8 +/- - I've been majorly on the fence with this one, but ultimately I don't really use it and its only purpose is as a collection piece.  This is a Fili that I purchased NOS and have honed once with one layer of tape on a coticule.  It shaves insanely well, took an edge with ease, and is in excellent condition (mild water staining on tang and tail.)  This is from the era of Filis that had upgraded scales and goldwash, but weren't yet on the downslope of quality after JMP's daughter took over.  Yours for $225 shipped.  Full album here.

  • Max Sprecher 8/8+ Custom - Blue paua scales, 8/8+ sizing, CV Heljestrand style tang, quarter hollow grind (which feels more like half hollow honestly), silly tiny bevel.  Basically this is about as clean and meticulous as a custom razor gets these days.  I find that Max's steel is much more keen than most modern makers, and with how thin he gets the blade, it behaves much more like deeper hollow grinds than you would think.  I purchased this for $600 two years ago (prices have gone up a bit since then), yours for $450 shipped.  Full album here.

Brushes (album here)

 -  SOLD SV 2.0 Shaving Brush in Olive Wood - Retail $185 plus shipping, yours for $140 shipped. Stated dimensions are 26x50mm manchurian knot, but that's definitely not accurate. This knot is bigger than my M&F 2XL, I would estimate around 28mm. Superb hairs, soft at the tips, strong backbone and hefty brush. I have sent a few e-mails asking if they plan on a smaller sized option, which I would prefer. They promptly released a 30mm version...

  - SOLD Rudy Vey D01 3-band - Retail was $60 for the handle, $120 for the knot, yours for $100 shipped. The bulb-shaped knot is 27mmx54mm and has all kinds of scrub. The handle is a faux jade, and is super beefy in the hands. I honestly haven't used this brush more than 3 times, as I found the knot far too large for my tastes, but my understanding is that as D01 from ShaveMac breaks in, it softens, so it should end up not being as scrubby as the current form.

  - SOLD Brad Sears Magistrate/Poly? - Retail for similar brushes starts at $195, yours for $100. This is an item I got second-hand in Brad's Manchurian 2-band. The knot is gel-tipped, good splay, solid backbone, and a nice, tall handle in blue/gold resins. The knot is a 26mm knot hybrid bulb/fan shape, loft appears to be roughly 52mm.

 -  SOLD Rudy Vey TGN 2-band Finest - Cost to me is unknown... yours for $50 shipped. I am fairly certain this brush was about $100ish? It's a 24mmx 50mm 2-band TGN Finest knot in a SOC-style handle of some type of pretty-looking burl. The handle is light, and the knot is something you just don't see anymore, TRUE gel tips. The overwhelming majority of knots that people think are gel-tipped are a shadow of this kind of knot. This was from the 2012 era where M&F, TGN, Thater and Rooneys had them, and honestly I haven't seen their like since. This brush is insanely gentle on the skin, I have never felt softer (including synthetics.)

  - SOLD Stirling Finest Badger 24mmx54mm - Retails for $34.95, yours for $20 shipped. Excellent starter badger brush, surprising backbone, soft tips, and a great handle. The lettering is fading, as it seems all of them do.

 -  Antigua Barberia de Bairro Shave Brush - Retailed for $48 plus shipping, yours for $30 shipped. Made by Semogue with their 2000 style handle and a 22mm badger knot. Scrubby despite the higher loft (estimated around 50mm), a great brush if you like scrub, Semogue badgers are insanely good for the price.

  - WSP "Monarch" in HMW - Retails for $109, yours for $30 shipped. Very unique grade of hair that has some scrub, yet is super soft at the same time? It's an interesting kind of brush, but this has been sitting around for a couple years now unused. Last I was using it, it was shedding 5-6 hairs per shave (over the course of about 10-15 shaves), and although it may calm down, I'm selling at a steep discount because of it.

 -  SOLD EJ Loxley Super Badger - Retails for $64 plus shipping, yours for $30 shipped. I actually like this handle and this brush a lot, and it reminds me of one of the good Simpsons Best brushes I tried a long time ago before the scritch takeover that happened there. The knot looks like 22mm-ish in bulb shape and has just enough scrub to get whiskers standing up, but nothing remotely irritating.

 -  Add-ons - Omega S-Brush and Maggard Plisson-style. Add one for $5.

Thanks for looking, and let me know of any questions!
