No doubt and no knock on the bb, it's a great razor. I have an old SS one and I was seriously contemplating keeping it for myself, then I ordered a rocnel. I love the handle especially on the blackbird.

After further consideration, I think I am going to hold out for the BB TI polished. It's been communicated that it will be a limited run going further. I'm sure the satin finish is nice, but I have a Gillette Aristocrat that shines and makes me smile when I see it. The Aristocrat isn't my favorite shave, but it's a looker. Looks don't remover whiskers, but it adds to the shaving experience IMO.

I agree with your sentiment, whether its just perceived to be better or it actually is I always felt thar mirror polished razors do have a bit better glide, and for me the polished look is much more pleasing on the eye.
