Just to offer an alternative opinion - while the quality of the BBS1 is truly superior to any safety razor that I tried so far, its shaving properties did not come across (in my case) superior to other contemporary machined DE razors. I was lucky to try three different BBS -1 razors and could never receive a shave that would be on par with the shaves I get from my BlackBirds, Webers PH and Wolfman .67.

However, YMMV and I wish you best luck with your search!

So you are saying my theory 'the best razor for me is the razor I can't buy', isn't true? Big Grin
