I really like tobacco fragrance, but I'm not fond of any of the current shaving soaps with that scent. Does anyone know of any vintage tobacco-scented shaving soaps? Or is it just a modern phenomenon?

I do not know anything about vintage soaps but have you tried or smelled Queen Charlotte Soaps, Cubano Breeze? However, as you know they are going out of business. I have it and it is a very nice soap.

I have tried Mystic Water Sweet Briar, WSP Rustic Tobacco, SMN Tobacco Toscano, RazoRock Santa Maria del Fiore, CCM La Habana, TFS Tobacco Verde, and Queen Charlotte Cubano. All good ones, but I just really prefer vintage hard soaps.

I see you have tried a few good ones, but some are part cologne. If you want a "more" pure tobacco scent I highly reccomend RazoRock Puros. Even though it's not hard it is the best I've smelled and the price is good.

Thanks. I have a pretty big soap rotation already, so I think I will just keep looking for a vintage one.

Perhaps an obvious choice, but have you considered trying Tabac?

Yes, I've tried Tabac and didn't really like it.

Tabac is more of a floral and doesn't really smell like tobacco.

I imagine it may be difficult to find a vintage tobacco scented shaving soap, because in the days of vintage soaps, you had more smokers, so if you wanted something tobacco scented, you could just light up a cigarette.

I'm pretty darn vintage and I don't recall any tobacco scented soaps from back in the day. Since tobacco use was ubiquitous, I don't suppose that the aroma needed to be added to other products.
