Rght?  His problem is that first, his cat want's to shave with the soap, but he needs his whiskers to "see" in the dark - which is darker than night because the poor cat is locked up in the damn box.  On top of that, Schrödinger doesn't even know if the cat is dead or alive (or dead and  alive!), so he has no beta feedback from it.  All he can say for sure is that the cat either loves the soap, or hates it, or loves it and  hates it, or neither.

No wonder you're still going back and forth.  That's a helluva tough way to develop a soap.
