I am no expert but I got two brushes both silvertip badger, the second I had set -10 mm to make it a bit more stiff. Along with those I also got an antique with another silvertip that is my go to brush. All from Whipped dog and total less than 100. Pro 48 rounds out the line for hard soaps and we are still under 125.

I believe in the law of diminishing returns. A brush would need to come with a happy ending before I would spend that kind of cash for one.

I’ve posted this before. Seems like a good time to post it again.
(I wonder if it was those blades that sealed the deal…) Smile

Yeah, but its so much fun Big Grin I actually enjoy seeing those eye popping price expectations on ebay. I mean more power to you but holy mackerel thats a lot of coin for a razor / brush / whatever. The things don't do their job any better than other hardware at a fraction of the price.

this is one of the main reasons we keep a bst archive section that is visible to everyone. it helps people to gauge what items were selling for at some point in time.

If you enlarge the photo - the handle really looks dusty and no photo of other side. Raises more questions.

The use "bots" is now common for concert tickets, and other high demand products. Zerofeud spinners sells out in seconds and just caught between 10 and 20 bots when he opened his shopify store. Clones are another issue and even more unethical in my opinion.

Why are you upset about the price of that brush? If you think it is too high, then don't buy it. There are dozens of brushes at all price points and quality levels, including great bargains for every budget. Anyone doing even a modicum of research will quickly learn what represents a good deal and what does not. Those not doing their homework... Well, a fool and his money are soon parted.

Threads whining about eBay having ridiculously overpriced items is like complaining about the sky being blue. It's the nature of the beast.
