Thanks HoosierShave. I used Astra SPs, Polsilvers and Bic Chrome Platinums in the razor. I think the Polsilvers worked the best for me. I don't have any Feathers on hand as I don't really like them that much, but I would give them a try if I did.

It is a little too much (aggressiveness) for daily shaving, but would surely excel if you were to only shave every 2-4 days. It provides an excellent BBS for me with multiple days growth. The fit and finish are top notch and I really like this handle too. I also like a razor with some heft to it, but this one is a little on the weighty side. Maybe the titanium version would be more suitable. I have heard some complaints about the bulkiness of the head, but I had no issues with it getting under the nose and into other tight spots. So all in all, great razor, looks awesome, but I personally would reserve it for those times when I haven't shaved in a few days. Thanks again EFDan for the opportunity. I'm going to go from the heaviest razor to the lightest and use the ATT Calypso R1 next!

Titanium is the way to go if you trust this guy. I agree it isn't something I would shave daily with, but I shave every other day so it works for me.

The Calypso has a lot of blade feel to me.
