I like free. Walk into your local pharmacy and bring your brush with you and show them what you want it for. They will give you a couple that will work.

Same for me with the pharmacy pill bottle. Works great with my Wee Scot.  Also primarily use a Simpson Major in super.  The turnback Cas is functional and attractive.  I towel dry the brush by gently wrapping the towel around the brush and the do a few light painting strokes on the towel.  I also take the brush out of my Dopp kit and let it air dry for 24 hours or so after getting home.

Honestly don't know. Mr. Google will know. They are called viewtainer.
Two inch seems to be the smallest diameter.

I started with a used pill bottle with a couple holes drilled in it, worked fine but took up too much room (the brush is a Stirling Li'l Brudder, it rattled around a lot).

Got a screw-shut tube from (I think) PAA. Lighter & a bit smaller, still took up a bit too much room.

Last month I bought a 3D-printed tube from Frugal Shave's Etsy store, printed to the brush's dimensions. Haven't traveled with it yet, but I won't have to fight to get it into my shaving kit.
