This is a great excercise in patience with all of the positive reviews of the razor. I'll hopefully get one, sooner than later, if things go well. Smile

No ETA. It’ll be a while.

Any more folks would like to share their experience with Ti Blackbird? Shaving experience vis-a-vis Blackbird Steel?

I plan on doing a more thorough review at some point, but briefly — the difference between 54 and 97 grams took a bit of getting used to at first. (Even the Timeless Titanium is over 70 grams, so the Blackbird Ti is in a class of its own in that regard.) While I’ve always felt that the steel version is good with most blades, the titanium seems to benefit from blades that are known to be especially sharp — such as Feather, Nacet. The steel version has that extra weight “behind” the blade, whereas the titanium doesn’t.

That being said, I would not necessarily recommend using extra pressure; rather, choosing a suitable blade and focusing on the correct angles (both the razor head angle and the angle of movement across the skin — think “slant”). It’s still early in the journey, but after the first couple of “what’s the deal here” shaves, I’m very much enjoying the Titanium.

This is official - the BlackBird Ti is my BEST RAZOR EVER, even with a shorter handle!

That's awesome. I just ordered one this morning. I do love the stainless version and I was initially skeptical that a titanium model could be materially different but these testimonials are convincing me otherwise!
