This is a question: I feel like the head design on the stainless Timeless looks a lot like a fixed version of a Merkur Progress. Curious if people have used both and if they have any thoughts on similarities of the shaves between these two?

My subjective view is that I don't find the shaves similar, at all, with both (three) razors.
I have a Progress (short handle) and I have had both the Timeless .68 & .95 SS heads. Because the Progress is an adjustable, it allows the user to set its aggressiveness, whereas both Timeless razors do not. I found the .68 too mild and the .95 left me with too many nicks and weepers for some reason, along with it leaving me with more irritation than I would have liked, possibly, due to the bulkiness of the head, but I cannot be certain.
I hope to try the Timeless .95 head in Titanium to see if the reduced weight would improve things for me.

If Timeless could ever come out with an adjustable, then they would have a great razor.

The resemblance is very superficial, they share a similar guard channel but the head geometry is really quite different.
